Shingle and Gravel driveways are the most popular in the UK. If you’ve used a Decorative Chippings on your driveway, you’ll find that with all the wind and the rain we’ve had lately, some of your Decorative Stones can go awry!
We always recommend topping your Aggregates up every few months anyway, but if the weather has proven tricky lately, consider buying some bags as a top up now.

All of our Decorative Stones can be purchased in handy, 20kg maxi bags. These bags are easy to handle and can fit in any car for easy transportation. This means you can buy a few bags and maybe have some left over for the next time your driveway is looking low.
For larger areas, buy a 850kg bulk bag for the best-value option. Selected Aggregates can also be collected from our new Ferndown Sand and Gravel Collection Yard.

The best sized Aggregate for a pathway and driveway is 14mm or 20mm; this is the ideal size for the chippings to lock into each other, creating a stable base.
Digging a pathway isn’t as daunting as it might sound, we sell all the material and equipment you’d need to make the task a breeze! If your plant beds are looking a little worse-for-wear, they might just be in need of some Woodland Mulch to protect them from more Winter damage, and keep out the excessive rain over Christmas!
Available to buy as a 850kg Bulk Bag, or a loose load from just 1 tonne, consider a last-minute delivery of Woodland Mulch before the festive season is in full flow!
Is it worth buying in Rock Salt?
Your final consideration – do you stock up on Rock Salt for Christmas? Temperatures are predicted to be fairly mild across the South, with cold periods in the Midlands and in the North.
Our Rock Salt is available in a Pink/Brown Grit option or a White Rock Salt option. Both are available to buy as handy, 20kg maxi bags which make it nice and easy for anyone wanting to stock up on a few bags – just in case!
