Carbon Limestone Paving
Black Limestone Paving is one of our best-selling Limestones Paver options. This stylish, dark grey stone works well with many different property and garden types and turns a deep, black colour when wet.
This paving range is calibrated to 22mm depth, ensuring an even consistency as well as high quality and strong, long-lasting durability.
Our Sandstone Paving is sourced directly from our trusted Indian suppliers, guaranteeing the best prices are passed down to our customers.
Due to these paving slabs being a naturally-formed stone, this paving has a higher porosity compared to manufactured, Porcelain Paving. This means that the paving will allow moisture to penetrate its surface, so will weather naturally over time.

Looking After Your Paving
Due to the nature of Limestone being a natural stone, the Carbon Black colour will eventually fade to a nice, grey colour. Many people like the dark grey colour it turns to, however, to keep the black colour you bought it in, you can buy Azpects Easy Seal Back to Black which revives the colour.
We also recommend you jet wash your Limestone Patio every 6 months to ensure it's free of any debris and kept clean.
What is the Difference Between Limestone and Sandstone Paving?
Both Limestone and Sandstone Paving are naturally derived from stone quarries in India, and have many similarities.
Limestone Paving is slightly lower in price, but may require more maintenance depending on the chosen colour.
However, due to its budget-friendly nature, Limestone is a slightly more brittle stone than Sandstone. However, once Limestone has been laid, it will have the same durability as Sandstone paving.
Even if Sealer has been used, Limestone colours will naturally fade. This means slightly more maintenance is required for Limestone to upkeep the original colour. It is slightly easier for the original colours to be maintained for Sandstone Paving.
There are different paving options for Limestone and Sandstone paving; Limestone paving comes in Square Edge options and a weathered range and Sandstone comes in sawn options as well as weathered options.
Carbon Limestone paving must be sealed to ensure the colour is maintained, whereas sealing your Sandstone Paving is optional.
What is the Difference Between Limestone and Porcelain Paving?
Limestone and Porcelain Paving are very different in many ways; Limestone is naturally formed stone and Porcelain Paving is manufactured stone with multiple finishes.
Limestone is ideal for gardens with a natural look and feel, whereas Porcelain is great for modern gardens wanting to have a unique, artistic look to them.
Limestone will naturally weather over time, with the colour and surface texture changing slightly. Porcelain, however, will keep its colours and finishes due to its manmade nature.
Limestone paving has a little more maintenance involved, as it will need jet washing every 6 months, whereas Porcelain paving just requires a hose down every 6 months to remove dirt and debris.
