For Joints 3mm or Wider
Please ensure your paving joints are at least 3mm wide, as the product will not perform correctly in narrower gaps.

Not Suitable for Driveways
EASYJoint Select is not recommended for driveways or areas with vehicular traffic.

Application Methods

There are 2 ways in which you can apply jointing to your paving.

Method 1: Wet Application Method

Begin by spreading half the contents of the bag over the area you plan to joint. Using a soft brush or squeegee, work the compound into the joints, making sure every gap is fully filled.

Next, set your hose to a spray setting and gently flush water over the surface. This helps the compound settle and compact properly within the joints, ensuring complete coverage.

Continue this process across the entire area. Once finished, give the paving a final light rinse and allow it to dry completely. For a neater, more refined finish, you can use a jointing iron or trowel to “point” the joints while they’re still damp.

After application, the jointing can be left to cure naturally. The only time you may need to revisit the area is if very heavy rain occurs immediately after installation.

 Method 2: Dry Application Method (For use when applying in temperatures at or below freezing)

Do not wet the surface at any point. In freezing conditions, any moisture may turn to ice and prevent the jointing material from curing correctly.

To avoid staining or marking, ensure the paving is sealed beforehand, ideally prior to installation. This helps protect both the paving surface and its edges.

Scatter half the bag of jointing material over the area and use a soft brush to sweep it into the joints. You must compact the material with a pointing iron to guarantee the joints are properly filled and securely packed.

You only need to revisit the area for any re-doing if there has been extremely heavy rain straight after application, otherwise, you can safely let it cure on its own.
