Paving can create many different looks, and with the South’s largest selection of natural paving, we have you covered no matter what look you’re going for. Here we show you some successful projects carried out by our landscaping clients to give you some inspiration.
Go sophisticated with porcelain
Our stunning selection of porcelain paving can create stylish entrances and patios where ever they’re placed.
Above you can see our Quartz grey laid by Steve Collins, a perfect outdoor flooring to place a table and chairs to enjoy eating outside in the Summer. You can then see our Quartz Anthracite and Cello paired together for a contrasted look. Brava Crema has also been used as a setting for al fresco dining. These colours are all part of our Italian range and come in different sizes and textures.
As well as looking fantastic in your garden, these create an inviting feel and make for great al fresco dining in the Summer. It also adds value to your property if you were thinking of eventually selling.
Create an inviting centre piece with circle kits
This versatile option looks great whether amongst matching paving or as a feature within some attractive decorate stone.
Above you can see our popular buff blend circle kit within a matching patio pack consisting of different sizes. This really adds the ‘wow’ factor to the patio and brings it to life. This was laid by Dreamscapes.
You can then see our citron circle kit within a matching cobbled area laid by Keel Landscapes. This demonstrates a varied use of our paving; combining cobble setts and mixed sized patio packs.
Lastly is a great use of our Buff Blend circle kit, placed at the centre of a feature which contains our Quantock chippings. Lost Landscapes enjoyed this concept and also incorporated using individual slabs as stepping stones.
Circle kits look great amongst a larger paved area but also create stunning focal points in the middle of your landscape. Al fresco dining and outdoor entertainment usually feature on these smaller patios.
Available in our sandstone range only, these consist of two different sizes; 2 ring circle kits which measure 2.4m in diameter and 3 ring circle kits which measure 3m in diameter. These both come with squaring off kits which is the matching paving cut to fit around the circle.
Maybe you’re considering a pond or just want to border a turfed area of your garden, choosing paving to do this will accentuate any feature you decide to have.
The above photos show Adam’s landscapes and their creativity to incorporate our stunning Quartz Anthracite porcelain paving around a garden pond to add a sophisticated feature around it. They have also expertly spread our Scottish pebbles around the pond and placed individual sandstone paving slabs for stepping stones.
Colourful & Bold statements with Premium sandstone
Who says sandstone has to be plain and blend into the background? We have colours and blends that can really make a statement in your garden and create that ‘wow’ factor.
Our first photo shows our Sawn Teakwood Sandstone that has a lovely, bright wood effect which really brings and inviting feel to any garden.
We then have a more budget-friendly option that still packs a punch, and that is our Fossil sandstone which consists of blends of yellows, golds and browns with unique markings on each slab. Dreamscapes have also paired this with our Fossil walling range.
And lastly, another member of our Sawn, premium range is Sawn Sorrel Sandstone which has also been laid by Dreamscapes. Sawn Sorrel is actually the ‘sawn’ version of Fossil sandstone. When a product is sawn it means it is hand cut to create perfectly regimented lines, it is also calibrated to ensure even thickness and then polished to give the above, shiny effect. This makes the colours really stand out while also maintaining its slip-resistant values.
Create an understated look
The first four budget-friendly sandstone options are: Fernlea, Citron, Umbra and Buff Blend. As they are natural stone, they all come with their unique and natural finishes. Some colours come with a variety of markings such as Buff Blend, and then Umbra consists mainly of grey shades for an understated look.
This range looks great when it is paired with other features such as decorative stones and natural or artificial turf. Starting at only £17.95 pr square metre, this meets any budget you may be restricted to.
The second images show understated colours that are in our premium range. Our Black Slate is hard wearing, smooth but also contains lovely variations of black within it’s colour.
For an up-market, understated look, we have our Silver Grey Granite that has been beautifully paired with our 20mm Plum Slate to add a splash of colour.
With many different ranges of both natural and manufactured stone, we can provide plenty of options for any look you’re trying to achieve, whether you’re on a budget or want to splash out on long-lasting, premium stone.
