We recommend jet-washing your Sandstone Patio every six months to keep it clean and free of debris.

What is the Difference Between Sandstone and Limestone Paving?

Both Sandstone and Limestone Paving develop naturally in Indian stone quarries and therefore share similar qualities. However, it's important to note that Sandstone is naturally hardier compared to Limestone, which tends to be more brittle.

To better retain the original colour of Sandstone Paving slabs, you can use sealers for added protection. However, Limestone garden slabs do not respond as well to sealants, and their colours will fade over time regardless.

However, Sandstone Indian paving slabs will show signs of wear and tear over the years, with noticeable changes in surface texture and colour. On the other hand, Porcelain Paving slabs retain their colours perfectly due to the printed design, ensuring a consistent appearance over time.

Both paving options have an R11 non-slip rating, making them safe to walk on even when wet. However, Sandstone requires slightly more maintenance, including jet washing twice a year. Porcelain garden paving slabs, in contrast, only need a hose down every six months to remove debris and dirt.
