Carbon Black Limestone Paving (Weathered)
Black Limestone Paving (Weathered) is one of our more rustic Limestones Paving options. This chic, dark grey stone works well for those who enjoy a slightly less-than-perfect look.
To ensure long-lasting durability, an even consistency and to make sure that the paving slabs are as strong as possible and at their highest quality, the paving is calibrated to 22mm depth.
We source all our Sandstone Paving directly from our trusted suppliers in India. In doing so, we are able to guarantee our customers the best prices.
As these slabs are formed naturally in stone quarries, they have a higher level of porosity in comparison to Porcelain Paving, which are manufactured. Therefore, it is important to understand because of the nature of the material, they will weather over time as they allow moisture to penetrate its surface.
Natural Stone Paving for Your Garden
These Weathered paving stones have a rough and textured finish. These flagstones are a popular choice for a wide range of projects, varying from front and back gardens to create a rustic yet characteristic atmosphere for entertaining your friends and family.
Why Choose Weathered Paving
If a uniformed, square-edged look is not the aesthetic you want to go for in your garden, then Weathered Paving is the ideal choice for you.
Weathered Paving gives off a gentler and softer look to your front or back garden and is great if you want to achieve a more understated and weather-worn look.
This particular Paving possesses a timeless quality, and goes extremely well with period properties, to give off the impression that these stones were laid a very long time ago and has gone through the effects of the weather.
Please keep in mind that in no way is the integrity and the durability of the paving is compromised, choosing a weathered paving is solely based on the personal preference of the buyer.

Looking After Your Paving
We strongly recommend that alongside your paving, you also purchase Azpects Easy Seal Back to Black. We think its the best option because, as we have stated before, the Carbon Black colour will eventually shade to a very sophisticated grey hue. This occurs due to the fact these are made of natural stone.
It is also best practice to jet wash your Limestone Patio twice a year to wash any dirt and debris that has accumulated.
What is the Difference Between Limestone and Sandstone Paving?
Limestone and Sandstone Paving have many similarities, but the most prominent one is the fact that they are both derived from Indian stone quarries.
At a slightly lower price, Limestone Paving does require some upkeeping based on which colour you chose.
Although Limestone being budget friendly is a great benefit, it is important to know that it is slightly more brittle when compared to Sandstone. But please keep in mind that once laid, they have the exact same durability.
Limestone will fade naturally whether or not a Sealer has been used. This does entail more effort to maintain the original colour. On the other hand, Sandstone Paving is easier to manage when concerning colour maintenance.
It is also useful to know that we offer various paving options for Limestone and Sandstone Paving. Limestone is available in Square Edge and Sandstone are available in sawn options.
To make certain that the Carbon Limestone's original colour is maintained as best as possible, it must be sealed. whereas Sandstone Paving does not need sealing, but it is optional.
What is the Difference Between Limestone and Porcelain Paving?
There are various differences between Limestone and Porcelain Paving. The most vital difference is the way in which they are formed. Limestone as we have already explained, are naturally formed whereas Porcelain Paving is manmade and therefore, available in a range of colours and finishes.
If you want a more homely, cosy feel to your garden, Limestone is the one you should choose. But on the other hand, if you want a more chich and sophisticated atmosphere we suggest you go with Porcelain Paving.
As time passes Limestone will weather naturally, with slight changes occurring to the colour and surface texture. But, Porcelain is able to keep its colours and finishes easily due to them being manufactured.
Some elbow grease is required for Limestone as you will need to jet wash it twice a year, whereas Porcelain Paving is much easier to handle as it only needs a hose down twice a year to keep dirt and debris away.
