Just a few months ago, we opened up our third store in Bournemouth, which has been very successful ever since. We’ve seen many customers, old and new and held a Dream Patio competition too! Now we’re into the New Year, with people starting to plan their dream garden for 2020, we have installed display areas to showcase our amazing products, as well as having lots of help from our regular Landscapers to build inspiring displays to show the potential of our products!
Where is this new store?
Our new store is located opposite Safewise, which is part of the West Howe Industrial Estate. We will be situated on Elliott Road, which can be accessed off Dominion Road or Turbary Park Avenue. There is also a Screwfix and Gibbs and Dandy near us.
The Stone Zone
Unit A, Robert Rose House
As you enter West Howe through the A348 dual carriage way, go across the Poole Lane roundabout towards the West Howe Industrial Estate, so there is a Lidl on your left.
Come off the dual carriage way after you’ve passed Lidl, and take a left down Dominion Road. There will be a Fabric Land on your left, drive toward the end of Dominion Road until you have reached Elliott Road.
Turn left and follow the road round until you have reached The Stone Zone and Landscaping Centre.
Who will I see at the new store?
Whether you’re a regular or a new customer – there’s definitely a couple of faces you’ll recognise!
Charlie McCabe – Branch Manager
Appointed as the Bournemouth Branch Manager is our one and only Charlie says character – Charlie! Charlie will bring his knowledge and expertise from managing the Dorchester branch to make this store a success!
Alison Brencher – Sales Executive
You may have seen her in our Meet the Team section (and how carried away she got with decorating our stones) – it’s our Sales Executive, Alison! Alison will be in charge of incoming calls and working alongside the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Tom McCabe – Customer Advisor
And introducing Tom – our new Customer Advisor! Tom has worked alongside the team at Ferndown and Dorchester as well, gaining plenty of product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases.
Check out the displays which have been completed by some of our Landscaping customers!
One of regular Landscaping customers, Cabin Builders, installed the above, impressive display towards the end of last year. As you can probably guess by the name, they specialise in cabin building, but their talents don’t stop there, they can install any kind of landscaping materials as shown above.
Underneath this amazing pergola, they have used pine sleepers to create a seating area, with a small section that perfectly showcases our Scottish pebbles. Umbra sandstone paving has been laid at the entrance of the display, complimented by our 20mm Ice Blue Chippings.
In the middle of the display, our Lava coloured Composite Prime Decking has been laid, with a small patch of our Goliath 40mm Artificial Grass.
This gives you a great idea of which products look best together and what colours compliment each other.
In their colourful and inventive display, Tidy Gardens have incorporated lots of different elements into their garden as well.
Sitting proudly at centre stage is our Antique Composite Prime decking, which is part of the Dual range and comes with a 25 year guarantee as standard. Bordering this decking is our Pine Sleepers which have been used to create a plant border that contains Black Ice Chippings to add a splash of colour.
Matching this colour theme is our Silver Grey Ledger Stone wall cladding which has been used as the walling for this porcelain-topped outdoor bar!
We love the modern ideas incorporated in this garden design and the colour scheme throughout.
One of our most popular products we sell is our vast Sandstone paving range. With a multitude of different colours, sizes and finishes, we have tried to display all of them here so you can see the full range we sell.
This display features the following colours: Fernlea (the lighter browns) Heather (the reddish colour), Fossil (the golden colour), Autumn Brown (The mixture of dark browns), Umbra (the shades of grey), Citron Limestone Circle kit, Carbon Black Limestone paving and a range of matching Cobble Setts.
Another very popular product, and one that makes up a huge amount of our stock, is our Porcelain Paving. With new ranges added to the growing collection, it’s very difficult to get every colour and finish on display. At Bournemouth though, we have done a great job of laying a variety of porcelain to give you an idea of all the different options you have to choose from.
Our new Spectrum Tiles range can be seen in the above photos, featuring Burlington Ivory (beige colour) and Burlington Rust (copper/brown colour). Our Brava range can also been seen, including the colours Crema and Greco.
Proudly stood with our Pine Sleeper stone display, Tom shows off all the decorative stones we have to show. Selling over 50 different types of stone, this display shows every single one, where you’re welcome to take samples home and can see the colour depths when they are dry/ wet.
Whether it’s for building use, landscaping use or just to top of the soil in your garden, our Aggregates are on display within the decorative stone area. They are also readily bagged and available to take away the same day you arrive!
Most of our stock is held in our Distribution Centre, where we can deliver this to the store of your choice to collect from, or deliver straight to your door. Smaller loads, however, are all stocked in the Bournemouth warehouse, where you’re able to take away our smaller Maxi Bags that contain each of our decorative stones.
We look forward to seeing you at our newly updated store!
