CORE Path gravel stabiliser grid makes gravel suitable for wheelie bins, wheel barrows, pedestrians, bicycles and much, much more. It is very easy to install and is perfect for patios and garden paths.

This gravel path stabilisation grid comes in two sizes. We sell the handy pack which is suited to gravel sizes of 3mm-14mm. The depth of the honeycomb is just 18mm which means your gravel consumption is reduced by over 50%. We work on the calculation that 1 tonne of aggregate would cover approx. 35m2.

The honeycomb structure is made from high quality polypropylene (Grey – Recycled and White – Virgin) material and has a geotextile membrane firmly attached to the underside to prevent weed growth.

With a shallow depth of just 18mm, it uses up to 50% less aggregate than many alternative systems—allowing one tonne of 10mm gravel to cover approximately 35m². Easy to cut

CORE PATH can be effortlessly cut to fit your project, allowing you to achieve clean, precise edges around curves, borders, features, and tight spaces. To customise each sheet to the exact shape or size you need, the most effective tools are a disc cutter or angle grinder, both of which provide smooth, accurate cuts with minimal effort.

When cutting, always ensure you’re using the correct blade for the material and work on a stable surface for maximum control. It’s essential to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, gloves, ear protection, and a dust mask, to keep yourself safe throughout the process.

With the right tools and proper safety measures, trimming CORE PATH to size is quick, simple, and ideal for creating a professional finish in any installation.

No weeds

One of the biggest challenges with traditional gravel surfaces is keeping them looking clean and weed-free. Weeds can quickly take hold and are often difficult to control. CORE PATH overcomes this issue with a premium geo-textile membrane that is heat-welded to the underside of each panel. This forms a secure “tray” for the gravel, preventing weeds from growing up through the surface and stopping the gravel from shifting beneath the cell walls. The result is a stable, low-maintenance surface that preserves both appearance and structural integrity over time.
