What is Joint-it Epoxy Grout?

Joint-It Porcelain Epoxy Grout is an innovative 2-part epoxy grout specifically designed for outdoor porcelain paving tiles with small joints. With exceptional bonding characteristics, this product is a high strength, non-staining, non-permeable solution to grouting porcelain paving slabs.

As mentioned above, this Porcelain Grout has exceptional setting capabilities and will dry rock hard which makes it 100% weatherproof, giving you the reassurance it will last pretty much forever. Joint-it have guaranteed that it will be anti-mildew for over 10 years!

In terms of the application of Joint-it Epoxy Grout, it is really simple and straight forward to apply, with no mess whatsoever! Unlike other Grout products on the market, this isn't a time-sensitive Grout, as it comes in a handy tube that can easily be stored once used. Anti-Bonding Wax
Manual Application Gun
Grout Scraper

How to Apply Joint-It Epoxy Grout

One thing to note before using this Epoxy Grout is that there is a minimum and maximum joint size; the minimum joint size being 1mm and the maximum being 5mm, always with a minimum of 10mm depth.

In terms of preparation of your garden paving before you start using this Epoxy Grout, ensure your paving slabs have been laid securely, with no movement to them. They must also be clean and dry, with the weather ideally being expected to be dry for the day.

Step 1: Wax

Apply a generous amount of Joint-It Anti Bonding Wax to the top of the paving slabs along both sides of the joint.

Step 2: Application

Using the application gun, slowly squeeze the product into the joints covering above the level of the tiles.

Step 3: Smooth

Pull the round finishing tool along the joints to create a smooth finish.

Step 4: Scrape

When the joints feel hard to touch, use a blade to peel off excess product.

Are there any conditions for using Joint-it Epoxy Grout?

The weather must be between 5 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius and dry. However, if it starts raining half-way through setting while you are using the rounding tools, this shouldn't affect the performance.

What is the coverage of Joint-it Epoxy Grout?

Each unit/tube of Joint-It Porcelain Epoxy Grout will cover up to approximately 2m². Coverage depends on the width of the joints and the size of the porcelain slab.

Can you use any leftover Joint-it Epoxy Grout?

Yes you can. Replace the cap after using and store in a cool, dry place, it will then last up to one month and can be used on other garden patios. Storing incorrectly or using after the expiration date may affect the characteristics of the product.

Is Joint-it Epoxy Grout Jet Washer Resistant?

Yes – Joint-It Porcelain Epoxy Grout is resistant to up to 7500 PSI water pressure where application guidelines have been followed correctly.
