The Anti-Bonding Wax has been developed to be used in tangent with the Joint-It Porcelain Epoxy Grout. The wax turns into a barrier between the grout and the Porcelain slab. This means that after you have applied the grout to your paving slabs and it has dried, the excess grout will peel off much easier especially if compared to not adding wax at the beginning stages.

Joint-It Epoxy Manual Application Gun

The Epoxy Manual Application Gun has been specially developed to work alongside the Epoxy Porcelain Grout. It enables you to cleanly apply the Epoxy grout to the paving joints. This application gun ensures that you can apply the grout as easily and neatly as possible without applying too much pressure.

Before the inception of the Epoxy Grout, you would’ve been hard-pressed to find a Grouting compound that was rock solid, non-permeable and wouldn’t absorb dirt and grime, Epoxy possesses these qualities and more, making it an effective feature for your paving slabs.

For the moment, the Epoxy Grout is available in Grey only. Joint-It chose this colour specifically as they found this shade to be the one that matches the largest amount of paving colours, making it a versatile option.

How to Apply Joint-It Epoxy Grout

Before starting the grouting process, make sure that your paving slabs are clean and dry. Make sure to check that there won’t be any rain forecasted in the near future.

The first step is to apply a generous coat of the Anti-Bonding Wax all over the top and both sides of the paving slabs. Be as thorough and as generous with the coating as possible because that will make your life easier in the future.

The second step is to use the Grout and the Application Gun to carefully apply the Grout in the joints of the porcelain patio. When doing this, make sure to squeeze out enough product to cover above the level of the tiles, to ensure that an appropriate amount of Grout has been applied.

The third step is to smooth out the applied Grout. You will do this by getting your hands on a rounded finishing tool that you have to line along the joints and pull along the joints, to create a tidy, uniform look.

Once that is complete, leave the area alone will the grout and joints have dried and are hard when you touch them. Now is the time to use a blade or scraper to peel off any excess product. This step will instantly enhance the paved area, giving it a fresh look. This last step emphasises how vital the Wax application step is – scraping off the excess will have been much more problematic if we hadn’t applied the Wax first.
