The New VubaMac Application System

The enhanced VubaMac system with MacMix has been reengineered for greater versatility, efficiency, and performance across a wide range of surfacing applications.

Heavy Vehicle Use

For driveways, loading bays, and other areas subject to heavy vehicle traffic, the upgraded system uses a 35mm VubaMac layer reinforced with two layers of mesh—one above and one below the surface. This robust build-up ensures exceptional load-bearing strength and long-term durability.

Coverage: ~2.15m² per mix

Material options:

4 bags of VubaMac + 1 bag of MacMix (12.5kg)

Or reuse aggregate waste—either ½ bag of 2–5mm or a 50/50 mix of 2–5mm and 1–3mm (total 12.5kg)

Vehicle Use

For standard driveways or parking areas, the system is slightly streamlined with a 30mm VubaMac layer, still supported by mesh above and below for strength.

Coverage: ~2.6m² per mix

Material options: Same as heavy vehicle use

Patios & Paths

In pedestrian-only areas, such as patios and garden paths, the system is optimised for efficiency with a 15mm VubaMac layer and a single mesh layer underneath.

Coverage: Up to 5m² per mix

Material options:

4 x VubaMac + 1 x MacMix (12.5kg)

Or 2 x VubaMac + 2 x 2–5mm (25kg) or 1 x 2–5mm (25kg) + 1 x 1–3mm (25kg) + ½ bag of 1–3mm (12.5kg)

(Note: second option gives slightly less coverage)

Occasional Foot Traffic

For decorative areas or light-use garden paths, the simplest option is a 25mm VubaSurface layer only, with no VubaMac required.

The GrassMac System is a fully engineered solution designed for installation exactly as shown—laid over VUBA’s SRM (Structural Reinforcement Mesh), with artificial grass fitted on top.
