20-40mm Tweed Pebbles
This naturally-rounded pebble makes for a stunningly unique garden feature. Consisting of an array of mid-brown and cream colours, you can use this fish-friendly decorative stone in ponds, water features and front gardens.
Tweed Pebbles are a mixture of quartzite and granite garden stone, which means that some of these decorative pebbles are all one colour, but the quartzite stones have a mixture of beautiful markings and colourings, which really create a two-dimensional look.
These decorative garden stones vary in size between 20mm and 40mm.
Tweed Pebbles for Your Garden
The most popular use of Tweed Pebbles is as a decorative feature within the garden. With the beautiful variety of brown colours, these garden stones look great paired with any property; old or new!
For this reason, Tweed Pebbles look really nice in a front garden to make an attractive first impression. As well as the front garden, people like to use these Pebbles as a border around larger landscaped areas such as garden Paving and Artificial Grass.
On a practical note, Tweed Pebbles are also good for pipe bedding and soakaways, due to their small size and washed nature.
Tweed Pebbles for Your Water Feature
The multitude of colours within Tweed Pebbles look even more impressive when they're wet! For that reason, many people have used them within natural water features that they have in their garden, to add a little more colour and sparkle.
Tweed Pebbles are naturally fish-friendly decorative stones, so would therefore be a great addition to any form of garden pond; whether it's man-made or completely natural. Why not scatter these pebbles around the edge of your pond for a natural yet high end looking pond that even your fish would admire!

How to Create a Rockery Water Feature
As well as being eco-friendly by offering insects and birds fresh water in the summer, having some form of running or still water to look at in your garden can be hugely beneficial to your mental health.
Save yourself some money and get creative with upcycling every day house items to make your own water feature! Below are some inspiring ideas for creating your own self-contained ponds or DIY water features!
Create a simple pond; if you have an old, plastic laundry basket or some form of large, ceramic pot, you could add water to it and create your own, contained pond. You might want to line the laundry basket with a tight, geo fabric to ensure the water remains contained. You will also need to replace the water every so often.
Add Tweed Pebbles to your pond to create your own rockery, paired with larger Boulders or Cobbles like Tweed Cobbles, this will really enhance the look of your natural, rockery paradise. And to complete the look, look out for plants you can buy that will either grow under water or sit on top of your pond that will really take it to the next level!
If you're wanting a water feature that you can listen to as well as admire, why not consider buying a pump? You can buy pumps that are solar-powered, so you don't have to worry about it running through electricity. You can buy them at different intensities so you can opt for simple and peaceful or the more powerful burst of water.
You could even take it up a notch by adding a solar-powered fountain to your water feature or pond! It could be as simple as upcycling an old trough or metal bath and incorporating a fountain, with some decorative stones around the edges.
Water for the Wildlife; maybe you just want a simple, contained pot of water filled with beautiful Pebbles or Boulders that the birds can take a bath in or use to get a drink in the Summer. Simply upcycle an old, metal or plastic planter or even a large garden or kitchen pot for a small, yet effective bird bath where you can enjoy watching small birds washing themselves or taking a drink in the Summer.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to our Decorative Stones being a naturally-sourced product, there will always be some variation from batch to batch, especially in terms of colour. On occasion, your garden stones may be very dusty; we recommend hosing your new stones down to wash them and reveal their true colour.
