30-50mm Scottish Pebbles
These best-selling garden stones are hugely popular for use in and around homes and gardens. These decorative garden pebbles consist of an array of natural brown colours. When the stones are wet, the colours are even more vibrant; featuring peaches, browns and brick red coloured stones that have a natural speckling through them as well as strikes of colour.
Scottish Pebbles are beautiful stones that are sea-worn and naturally rounded from the Scottish Highlands. As well as looking amazing, these high-end, granite stones are highly sought-after and of top quality. These garden pebbles vary in sizes between 30-50mm. Being fish-friendly, these make a great addition to a rock pond or water feature.
Scottish Pebbles for Your Garden
When it comes to garden features, you can't go wrong with Scottish Pebbles. Many people like creating a focal point in their garden that is both low maintenance and nice to look at. Scottish Pebbles would make a lovely garden feature due to the variety of brown shades that will go with most garden colour schemes.
With these pebbles being 30-50mm in size, we wouldn't recommend using them as a pathway or on a drive as they would be too big to walk or drive on. For this reason, they're best to be laid within your garden and admired from a distance. Why not use them in an empty front garden? This will make the entrance to your home look great!
Scottish Pebbles as a Water Feature
The depth of these brown and red colours can really admired when the decorative stones are wet. Therefore, many customers have used Scottish Pebbles within water features, whether it's a solar-pimp powered water feature they have created themselves, or one they have shop-bought.
Due to these decorative garden pebbles being fish-friendly, it means they are completely safe for use in a garden fish pond. The natural colours of Scottish Pebbles will really enhance the look of your pond and give it a nice, natural feel.

How to Create a Rockery Water Feature
Water Features are amazing in the sense that they can be made to whatever size and specification you like. They offer so much more than just something pretty to look at; they also offer a relaxing sanctuary in your own garden, where you can enjoy listening to the sounds of running water.
If you're into DIY challenges and enjoy upcycling projects, why not try and make your very own Water Feature? Read our guide below for some fun ideas for creating your own self-contained ponds or DIY water features!
Create a simple pond; There are many things that can actually be upcycled into a garden pond, as long as it's air tight and a reasonable shape and size, go for it! People have also used things like old laundry baskets, and just used some form of air-tight fabric to put inside it.
A natural rockery; Blend the whole water feature/garden pond look nicely into your garden by adding some of our Rocks and Boulders to create a multi-levelled rockery. Larger Scottish Cobbles are also available which would look great within any rockery.
Take it to the next level; Make a water feature that has some form of running or babbling water with a solar-powered pump! They are cheap to buy, run off solar energy and are hugely eco-friendly. Place this within your water feature to really take your water feature to the next level.
Solar-powered water fountains are also readily available at a range of prices and sizes. If you really want your water feature or pond to have the wow-factor, adding a fountain will give it the look and the soothing sounds that your garden will enjoy all year round.
Water for the Wildlife; sometimes, simplicity is more effective. Why not consider upcycling an old, metal bath tub or even an old oven pot and adding some fresh water and some lily pads as a low-maintenance water feature? It will give the birds something to take a drink from and have a bath in too!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to our Decorative Stones being a naturally-sourced product, there will always be some variation from batch to batch, especially in terms of colour. On occasion, your garden stones may be very dusty; we recommend hosing your new stones down to wash them and reveal their true colour.
