As we have mentioned earlier, the original colour will start to whether eventually, and the Fernlea Raj Green Sandstone Paving will fade to even lighter browns and beiges that will give your home a cosy look. As these paving slabs are naturally formed, they are prone to weathering, hence the colour fades over time.

What is the Difference Between Limestone and Sandstone Paving?
Limestone and Sandstone paving do share some similar attributes. The most commonly known similarity is the fact that they are naturally derived in Indian stone quarries.
Limestone Paving is the more cost-effective option of the two, however keep in mind that Limestone requires effort and upkeeping to keep it at is best shape.
It is important to know out of the two options Limestone is the more brittle one, it is an importantly factor to be aware of even though it's the more economical variety. But, once laid they both have the same durability.
Limestone will wear over time, whether or not a Sealer has been used on the paving. Because of this, some elbow grease is needed to sustain the original colour of the paving for as long as possible. Whereas with Sandstone Paving maintenance is much less of an issue.
We provide a range of options our Sandstone and Limestone paving here at Stone Zone. Sandstone is available in sawn options and Limestone is available in Square Edge options.
The Fernlea Raj Green Sandstone Paving must be sealed to make certain that the original colour is retained. On the other hand with Sandstone Paving, sealing is not necessary, only optional.
What is the Difference Between Limestone and Porcelain Paving?
Limestone and Porcelain Paving do have some differences of note. The most notable difference is the way in which they are formed with Limestone being formed naturally in stone quarries and Porcelain being manufactured. However, because Porcelain Paving is made-made, it allows them to be available in a range of colours and finishes.
Porcelain Paving is a great choice for those who enjoy a chic and modern look, whereas Limestone Paving is the one for those enjoy classic and understated vibes for their homes.
Limestone will naturally whether over time, with the surface texture and colour slowly fading. On the opposite side, Porcelain Paving is much better at withstanding external factors and is able to keep the original colour and finish bright for a long period of time.
A useful thing to remember is that Limestone needs to be jet washed every 6 months to keep it in shame whereas Porcelain Paving only needs a hose down. With that in mind, you have to consider how much effort you are willing to put in to maintain your paving before choosing the one for you.
