Composite Prime HD XS Decking
Designed and developed in the heart of England, Composite Prime are the fastest growing composite brand in the UK that manufacture a wide range of Composite Garden Decking, Composite Fencing and Composite Cladding that is suitable for both domestic and commercial customers.
The Composite Prime XS range features smaller sized Decking boards to give you a number of options when it comes to installing it in your garden.
The XS range is known as the great value collection for those customers on a budget. The lower price does not mean lower quality though; this Decking still has the same make-up as their Dual Decking and Pro Decking.
The XS Decking boards are complete with a 'honeycomb' design which makes the boards lighter in weight and easier to handle when installing.
This versatile decking also has two different finishes to each side; one side features wide grooves while the reverse side has thinner grooves that are closer together. This is great for those that aren't 100% sure what they're looking for, and have two different options to decide on.
Silver Grey is a very popular colour when it comes to the Composite Prime HD XS Decking range; grey decking, like grey paving is high in demand for homes and gardens at the moment. This dark-grey, shiny silver colour makes for a very smart and modern-looking outdoor space.
Composite Prime HD XS range is available in three popular colours: Silver, Walnut and Lava.

Composite Decking for Your Garden
When it comes to your main garden feature, both Paving and Decking are fairly evenly matched in what benefits they bring to the table. Both options offer somewhere to host a bit of al fresco dining, as well as providing a clean area to entertain that looks great and is low maintenance.
Having a garden deck is something many of us dream about when we imagine our ideal garden, but why is that? Many of us like our garden to look nice, but still look natural. With Composite Decking perfectly mimicking real wood decking, this is an obvious choice if you're looking to add a natural-looking feature.
Decking is very low maintenance, even more so than Sandstone or Porcelain Paving; it won't discolour if exposed to UV rays, it doesn't require staining or sealing like Sandstone does and it is also stain and scratch resistant! This makes it a great choice if you have children and pets running around.

Composite Decking vs. Traditional Decking
If you're new to the concept of Composite Decking, you might be wondering why it's so much better than traditional wooden decking that has been around for decades?
When comparing the two different types of Decking, the Composite option has some clear benefits to traditional. One of these benefits is that Composite will almost definitely last longer; where it's been manufactured with recycled plastic as opposed to just natural wood, the qualities it obtains mean it's resistant to rotting, mould and grime.
A huge advantage of Composite Decking is that it is R11 compliant and completely non-slip, even in the rain! One annoyance of traditional timber decking is that it can get very slippery when it's wet, and can also form a mildew on the top of the wood which causes a prolonged slippery surface. You can rest easy with Composite Decking and be sure it's not too slippery to walk on.
As mentioned above, it also won't cause any splinters, so is completely safe to walk on bare foot, as well as being pet and child friendly. This is comforting to know if you enjoy entertaining.
Finally, the environmental factors are a huge bonus when it comes to Composite Decking. Consumers are much more aware of de-forestation and the need to recycle plastic where possible. Composite Prime use a clever blend of FSC Certified wood flour and recycled plastic, so there are no negative impacts on the environment when opting for this choice.
